<p>The invention relates to a system for monitoring, controlling contributions to, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GGE) originating from the activity of a given entity. The system includes, in a client-server architecture, a dedicated server (S) including a calculation tool (CM) proportionate to the scale of the contribution to GGE, a directory (ANN) of the sets or subsets of individuals and/or facilities (li(Eqi)) involved in said activity, a unique ID code (IDi) being allocated to each of said individuals and/or facilities, allowing segmentation of the contribution to GGE by sets or subsets of individuals and/or facilities. A client agent (CAi) is linked to each set or subset (li(Eqi)) in order to ensure, via the interconnection of each set or subset to the dedicated server (S) and via the transmission of messages (MADi), that the contribution to and the reduction of GGE by the entity are updated in real time.
