<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a secondary battery preventing occurrence of displacement in respective electrode groups and enabling miniaturization of entire of the battery when a collector plate on which a plurality of electrode groups are bonded is feld to arrange respective electrode groups on a predetermined arrangement position. <P>SOLUTION: A square secondary battery 12 is characterized in that collector plates 3a, 3b for connecting between a plurality of electrode groups 1 and 2 are feld at preset folding portions 3a1, 3a2, 3b1, 3b2 to house the plurality of electrode groups 1, 2 in a battery case 11.
