<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for polymerizing olefin capable of economically, highly productively, stably obtaining a polymer without using a hydrorefining catalyst containing an expensive noble metal and purifying without requiring a hydrogen reaction when an industrial olefin containing an impurity of an acetylene-based compound is used as a raw material of olefin polymerization. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the method of polymerizing olefin, wherein a raw material olefin containing an acetylene-based compound as an impurity is contacted with a hybrid type adsorbent comprising a mixture of activated alumina with zeolite, and then the raw material olefin is contacted with a metallocene catalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
