One embodiment of the present invention relates to an optical semiconductor-based lighting apparatus, wherein a bracket assembly is mounted on an upper side of a heat sink including a fixing unit and has a power supply device embedded therein, the power supply device is stably mounted on the upper side of the heat sink including the fixing unit, a plurality of heat-dissipating pins protrude from the inner surface of the heat sink, and an upper surface of the power supply device is disposed on a location that is higher than or the same as an edge of an upper end of the heat sink. Thus, the invention is capable of being compact, and enables simple installation and construction, easy detection of a fault location, and simple maintenance and replacement.
