<p>This puncture detection apparatus and puncture detection method for a tire vulcanizing bladder reduce the maintenance frequency of a sensor and filter by minimizing contamination due to vapor and fumes, and enable the occurrence of minute pinhole punctures to be detected. The puncture detection apparatus is provided with a sensor box having a sensor inside for detecting vapor used in tire vulcanization, and an introduction tube that guides vapor that has leaked from a tire vulcanizing bladder to the sensor box during tire vulcanization. The puncture detection apparatus is configured in such a manner that: a filter is disposed on one end of the introduction tube, and a control box that regulates the guiding of vapor from the bladder to the sensor box, is connected to the other end; and an exhaust hole, which communicates with the outside, and a fan, which forcibly causes vapor to flow to the sensor box, are provided to the control box, and vapor is guided to the sensor box via the control box.</p> |
