PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of solifenacin and its salt is provided to manufacture solifenacin and its salt with shorter reaction time, more favorable reaction condition, and high yield. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of solifenacin comprises: A first step of reaction between 1,1'-carbonylbis (3-methylimidazol-3-ium)iodide of chemical formula 2 and (S)-1-phenyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline of chemical formula 3; and a second step of manufacturing solifenacin of chemical formula 1 through a coupling reaction between the first step reactant and (R)-3-quinuclidinol of chemical formula 5; and an additional third step of recovering solifenacin succinate manufactured under reflux with stirring by adding succinic acid to solifenacin manufactured in the second step. The first step is performed with solvent mixture of toluene and dimethylformamide.
