PURPOSE: A bottle opener for preventing damages to the opening of a bottle is provided to easily open a bottle top by reducing the strain of the opening of the bottle. CONSTITUTION: A bottle opener (1) for preventing damages to the opening of a bottle comprises a bottle top opening part (2) having a grip (9) and an opening (3). Fitting parts (4) are formed on the inner edge of the opening in a tapered shape. Recess parts (7) are formed on the inner surfaces of both ends of the fitting parts. When a bottle top is opened, the top surface and the edge of the bottle top touch the recess parts.
