PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration for determining which WAN to use in a relay server which can be connected to a wired WAN and a wireless WAN for communication via a VPN.SOLUTION: A relay server comprises a connection information storage unit, a first connection control unit, a second connection control unit, a VPN control unit, and an exclusive control unit. The connection information storage unit stores connection information. The first connection control unit controls connection to a public wired communication network. The second connection control unit controls connection to a public wireless communication network. The VPN control unit communicates with the relay server serving as a communication partner via a VPN. When connected to a WAN (Internet) by the second connection control unit, the exclusive control unit inhibits connection to the WAN by the first connection control unit. When connected to the WAN by the first connection control unit, the exclusive control unit inhibits connection to the WAN by the second connection control unit. |
