本发明涉及直流电源转换电路及方法。所述直流电源转换电路包括:直流输入端,用于接收直流电输入;直流输出端,用于提供一预定直流电输出;开关单元,其连接在直流输入端和直流输出端之间,用于提供一直通供电通路;直流-直流降压转换单元,其连接在直流输入端和直流输出端之间,用于提供一降压供电通路;及控制单元,其与开关单元和直流-直流降压转换单元相连,用于对直流电输入电压进行检测,并根据检测结果选择直通供电通路和降压供电通路中的一个以提供该预定直流电输出于该直流输出端。把直流电源转换电路用在多媒体播放器或者电视盒等电子设备的电源电路中,可使设备的输入电源兼容5V、9V和12V等电源适配器。
