PURPOSE: A window opening and closing device is provided to normally allow a user to open or close a window through manual control and to electrically close the window when fire is generated. CONSTITUTION: A window opening and closing device (100) comprises a base (110), a slider (120), and a turning arm (130). The slider is installed in the base in an advance and retreat structure, and the turning arm mutually connects a window and the slider with a link structure. A driving unit including a motor (142) and a movable element (141) is arranged at the rear of the slider. When the movable element is moved to the other side by reverse rotation of the motor, the slider is engaged with the opening of the window for manual opening. When the slider moves forwards by moving the movable element to one side by normal rotation of the motor, the window including the opened turning arm is turned and is electrically closed. |
