PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorcycle theft detection device that can specify whether the cause of changes in acceleration applied to a motorcycle is due to theft or carelessness by a user.SOLUTION: A motorcycle theft detection device includes: a triaxial sensor 13 for detecting acceleration applied to a motorcycle in the longitudinal direction, the horizontal direction, and the vertical direction; a determination unit 14 for determining the occurrence of theft based on changes of acceleration detected by the triaxial sensor 13; a horn 15 and an indicator lamp 16 as a notifying means for notifying the occurrence of the theft when the determination unit 14 determines that the theft has occurred; a memory 12 for storing an acceleration model that is information formed by modeling, in advance, changes of acceleration that are likely to occur to the motorcycle from carelessness by a user; and a controller 11 for determining whether the changes of acceleration detected by the triaxial sensor 13 coincide with to the acceleration model stored in the memory 12, and at the coincidence, controlling the notification means not to give notification. |
