PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing toner leakage when receiving and delivering toner.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus which comprises: a toner supply unit 3 for storing toner; and a developing unit 2 for storing toner and receiving toner discharged from the toner supply unit 3. The toner supply unit 3 comprises: a discharge port 31 for discharging the stored toner; and a first shutter 32 for opening and closing the discharge port 31. The developing unit 2 comprises: a receiving port 21 for receiving toner discharged from the discharge port 31; and a second shutter 22 for opening and closing the receiving port 21. A hollow toner passage 50b is formed in the developing unit 2 and a projection/retraction member 50 which can be projected and retracted with respect to the toner supply unit 3 is provided in the developing unit 2. The discharge port 31 and the receiving port 21 are communicated through the toner passage 50b when the projection/retraction member 50 is projected to the side of the toner supply unit 3. |
