PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiping material formed by joining a linear material with a sheet material while a linear material layer formed by gathering the linear material in approximately parallel is laminated with the sheet material, and effectively captures various dusts at a fringe provided on the side.SOLUTION: A linear material layer 12, in which pieces of the linear material 10 gather in approximately parallel to form a layer, and a sheet material 14 of a nonwoven fabric are laminated and connected by heat fusion. At the left side of the linear material layer 12, a left fringe 18 which has a free left end and a base made of the linear material 10 connected to the sheet material 14 with a left fused part L is constituted. At constant intervals over the whole length in a direction perpendicular to a direction of the linear material at a specific position of the direction of the linear material in the left fringe 18, a separated connection part T, in which the linear material 10 and the sheet material 14 are heat fused, is provided. A right fringe 20 is provided in the same manner. |
