PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display system for a work machine, adaptable to an option site when post-mounted.SOLUTION: When an option device 7 is post-mounted, a vehicle body controller 2 inputs a detection signal from the option device 7 via a connection device 8 and an option device information input part 21 to recognize the option device 7, and outputs a command signal to each device 14. At the same time, an information controller 3 received input of information relating to the option device 7 via a vehicle body network 6 and stores it in a storage part 32. A maintenance information processing function 36, an abnormality determining function 37, an abnormality coping information processing function 38, and an arrangement information processing function 39 determine whether the information relating to the option device 7 is displayed or not, on the basis of the information stored in the storage part 32, and outputs the information to a display controller 5 when determining that it is displayed.
