PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain artificial film-like graphite where the electrical resistivity at 77K to that at room temperature or electrical resistivity at 4K to that at room temperature is small.SOLUTION: Artificial film-like graphite where the electrical resistivity at 77K to that at room temperature or electric resistivity at 4K to that at room temperature is small is obtained by heat-treating a polyimide film having a thickness of 12.5 μm or more and 125 μm or less and a birefringence of 0.12 or more at 2,800°C or lower and 3,000°C or lower. |
