PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic agent for treating diseases associated with increased plasma FFAs (free fatty acids), such as dyslipidemia, highly-active anti-retroviral therapy (HAART)-associated lipodystrophy, insulin resistance, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, stroke, obesity, elevated body mass index (BMI), elevated waist circumference, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, hepatic steatosis, and hypertension.SOLUTION: This invention relates to purinone derivatives which are agonists of the HM74a receptor shown by the following general formula. |
