PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring system and a measuring method in which easy and accurate medical diagnosis can be performed.SOLUTION: A measuring system comprises a measuring section, a control section, a detection section and an information processing section. The measuring section measures a measurement chip in which a specimen is held. The control section controls the measuring section based on firmware. The detection section detects chip identification information representing a kind of the measurement chip from the measurement chip. The information processing section compares the chip identification information acquired from the detection section with a chip identification information list and supplies the firmware corresponding to the chip identification information to the control section. |
