A liquid crystal panel, an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) having the same, and a method for driving the same are provided to minimize the power consumption of a source driving part and improve heat generation as data polarity switching in the source driving part occurs only once in displaying an image of one frame. A liquid crystal panel comprises a plurality of liquid crystal pixels, a plurality of data lines, the first gate line, the second gate line, the third gate line, and the fourth gate line. The liquid crystal pixels form the first horizontal pixel column and the second horizontal pixel column. The data lines are connected to the liquid crystal pixels. The first gate line is connected to odd-numbered liquid crystal pixels of the first horizontal pixel column. The second gate line is connected to even-numbered liquid crystal pixels of the first horizontal pixel column. The third gate line is connected to even-numbered liquid crystal pixels of the second horizontal pixel column. The fourth gate line is connected to odd-numbered liquid crystal pixels of the second horizontal pixel column. |
