PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation control device with reduced cost and transportation equipment equipped with the power generation control device.SOLUTION: When a voltage conversion circuit 6 is under a first connection state, capacitors C1 and C2 are charged with a voltage of a battery 3. When the voltage conversion circuit 6 is under a second connection state, the capacitor C2 is charged with a voltage higher than that of the battery 3 by the battery 3 and the capacitor C1 connected in series. By a control part 5, the voltage conversion circuit 6 is switched alternately between the first connection state and the second connection state. Consequently, the capacitor C2 is charged to a voltage that is higher than the voltage of the battery 3 by a specified value or more. Under this state, the voltage that is higher than the voltage of the battery 3 by the specified value or more is given from the capacitor C2 to a switching element of a rectification circuit as a trigger signal. As a result, the switching element is placed under a conduction state. AC current outputted from an AC power generator in a conduction period of the switching element is converted into DC current by the rectification circuit. |
