PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state laser device capable of stabilizing laser characteristics by making heating amount of an acoustic optical element constant so that fluctuation width of element temperature is suppressed to be small.SOLUTION: A solid-state laser device includes a semiconductor laser 1 for generating excitation light, a solid-state laser medium 4 for generating induction release light according to the excitation light from the semiconductor laser, an acoustic optical element 5 which is disposed in a resonator containing the solid-state laser medium to generate giant pulses by controlling loss in the resonator, a heater 7 which is disposed on the acoustic optical element to heat the acoustic optical element, an acoustic optical element drive circuit 8 in which RF is inputted in the acoustic optical element to turn on/off the acoustic optical element, and a heater drive circuit 9 which drives the heater when the acoustic optical element is turned off. |
