PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe which can easily detect the presence or absence of the possibility of damage in the ultrasonic probe, an inspection machine, an ultrasonic observation apparatus, and an endoscope reprocessor.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe contains a transducer layer where a plurality of ultrasonic transducers that have an electrode and generate ultrasound by energization to the electrode are disposed, a first protection layer of insulation which covers over the transducer layer, and one or more linear filaments which are arranged on the first protection layer and have electroconductivity.
