PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste furnace that enables low excess air combustion.SOLUTION: In a fire grate waste furnace, a main combustion chamber 11 for combusting a waste dropped from a waste inlet 13 is provided, a secondary combustion chamber 12 for combusting an unburnt gas in the main combustion chamber 11 is connected to an outlet side of the main combustion chamber, and auxiliary device elements 31-3 for monitoring a furnace state, injecting water or a treatment agent and preparing furnace operation are provided in the main combustion chamber and the secondary combustion chamber. The fire grate waste furnace includes a purge gas supply means 35 for supplying the exhaust gas to at least one of the auxiliary device elements 31-34 as a purged gas. |
