PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive recorder capable of accurately detecting an accident and making determination suitable for specifications of a vehicle, habits of traveling, a road state and a road surface condition.SOLUTION: As problem solving means of the present invention, in a drive recorder D including a camera 2 installed to a vehicle, an acceleration sensor 3 capable of detecting at least front-back and left-right biaxial accelerations of the vehicle, and storage means for storing images photographed by the camera 2 and the acceleration detected in the acceleration sensor 3, the fact that the acceleration detected in the acceleration sensor 3 exceeds a prescribed threshold for fixed time is defined as a condition, the image is photographed for prescribed time when the condition is satisfied, a file including the time at which the condition is established and image information photographed within the prescribed time is generated and stored in the storage means, and the fixed time is changeable by having a user specify the number of times that the acceleration detected in a prescribed sampling cycle continuously exceeds the threshold. |
