In the present invention, a rendered screen, viewpoint information used for rendering the screen, and a depth buffer corresponding to the screen are sequentially acquired. A moving picture distribution server sets evaluation pixels for each of a plurality of blocks into which a first screen that is acquired is divided, and specifies screen coordinates and depth values on a second screen acquired before the first screen in regard to a drawing object rendered in the evaluation pixels. The server compares the depth value of the screen coordinates of the depth buffer corresponding to the second screen and the depth value of the drawing object rendered by the evaluation pixels, and determines performance of interframe coding with the second screen in regard to a block where the two depth values appear identical. Next, encoding detail information is transmitted to an external device, the information including information showing whether interframe coding is performed in regard to the viewpoint information used for rendering of the first screen, the depth buffer corresponding to the first screen, and the blocks of the first screen. |
