<p>This device (1) for adding to a filter tow is provided with: a travel path (2) on which a filter tow (4) travels; a spray nozzle (3) for spraying an additive to the filter tow (4) on the travel path (2); and mesh members (5a, 5b) disposed on a spray region (6) which is between the spray nozzle (3) and the travel path (2) and in which the additive is sprayed from the spray nozzle (3). As a consequence, the additive amount distribution of the additive in the width direction of a tow can be easily adjusted compared to the prior art.</p> |
