PURPOSE: A digital hologram generating method, a generating apparatus thereof, an authoring method thereof, an authoring apparatus thereof, and a recording medium for the same are provided to variably set generation conditions for each sub hologram in consideration of performance requirements, thereby improving operation processing efficiency for hologram generation. CONSTITUTION: A digital hologram generating apparatus loads object information (S110). A condition setting unit sets an effective size of a sub hologram which will be generated according to a point of an object (S120). According to the effective size, a sub hologram generating unit generates a fringe pattern by the sub hologram (S130). The hologram generating unit generates a hologram by adding the generated fringe pattern (S140).
