PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of possibility that a state change of an image forming apparatus cannot be shared between an engine control unit and a video controller while communication is interrupted, in a power saving mode in which communication between the video controller and the engine control unit is interrupted to achieve power saving.SOLUTION: A state change of a status that has occurred while communication is interrupted is stored as a state change status. Thus, a video controller 102 can recognize, based on the state change status, the occurrence of the change of the status while communication with an engine control unit 103 is interrupted. |
