PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine capable of preventing winding collapse and winding swell.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine includes a rotor 38; a stator core 1 including a plurality of core backs 1b each having a curved transverse section and connected annularly so as to surround the rotor 38, and teeth 1a formed so as to be erected from surfaces of the core backs 1b on a side of the rotor 38; insulation portions 3 each having a curved traverse section and being provided on a surface of the core back 1b on the side of the rotor 38; and coils each constituted by winding a winding around the tooth 1a including a region surrounded by the surface of the insulation portion 3 on the side of a stator, the surface of the insulation portion 3 on the side of the rotor 38, and a segment connecting both ends of the insulation portion 3. |
