SHOCK ABSORBING DEVICE FOR RAILWAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorbing device for railway, improved in energy absorbing performance of impact force input, while evading complication and upsizing of a structure.SOLUTION: A double action type outside shock absorber 14 which is formed by assembling a pair of front and rear outer side shock absorbing rubbers 52 and 52 between facing faces of outside receiving part 48 and a pair of front and rear end plates 50 and 50 respectively are disposed at periphery side against a double action type inside shock absorber 12 which is formed by assembling a pair of front and rear inner side shock absorbing rubbers 22 and 22 between facing faces of body part 18 and a pair of front and rear follower plates 20 and 20, respectively. The inside shock absorber 12 and the outside shock absorber 14 are made to act on the load input in the series by composing a shock absorber receiving member 16 by are integrally coupling a body part 18 of the inside shock absorber 12 and the outside receiving part 48 of the outside shock absorber 14.
