PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin touch panel at low costs in which position detection is executable only by a touch, and materials of touching objects do not matter.SOLUTION: The touch panel includes: a first conductive film having a plurality of separate regions formed in a long strip-like shape in one direction; a second conductive film having a plurality of separate regions formed in a long strip-like shape in the other direction which is almost orthogonal to one direction; and a third conductive film. The separate areas in the first conductive film are arrayed in the other direction, and the separate areas in the second conductive film are arrayed in one direction. A current detection part is connected to each of the divided areas in the first conductive film, and a current detection part is connected to a part of the divided areas in the second conductive film, and a potential detection part is connected to each of the divided areas in the second conductive film, and a potential detection part is connected to the third conductive film. |
