PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-maintenance vertical shaft pump having an intermediate portion reliably supported.SOLUTION: A vertical shaft pump P includes intermediate support devices 10 having skeleton-side support parts 2 provided in a skeleton K with the vertical shaft pump P installed therein and pump-side support parts 3 provided in the vertical shaft pump P. The skeleton-side support parts 2 and the pump-side support parts 3 are allowed to slidably move in the vertical direction, and restricted to move in the radial direction of a rotating shaft 102. The distance between the center of the rotating shaft 102 and a sliding end is longer than the distance between the center of the rotating shaft 102 and the outermost periphery of a pump casing 103. |
