PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector used for knockdown type furniture, which can be easily and unfailingly mounted without requiring a tool and force.SOLUTION: A connector 10 connects two flat plates together and includes a joint body 11 and a receiving part 12 to be engaged with an engagement portion provided in the body so as to be connected thereto. The body 11 is fixed to a hole provided on a surface of one flat plate to be set thereon, while the receiving part 12 is embedded in the other flat plate The body 11 includes an approximately cylindrical housing 13, a lever 14 fixed rotatably to the housing 13 in a shaft-like manner, the engagement portion 15 which is provided protrudingly from the housing 13 and protrudes from a side end of the one flat plate to engage with the other flat plate and thereby plays a role for fixing the two platy members, and a shaft 16 which is provided protrudingly so as to penetrate from an inside of the housing 13 to an inside of the engagement portion 15 and moves axially along with the turning operation of the lever 14. |
