PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane separation activated sludge treatment method and system, capable of preventing fouling of a membrane by properly adjusting MLSS (Mixed Liquor Suspended Solids) by capturing increase and decrease of a substance responsible for fouling, fluctuation of BOD-sludge load that is a serious factor for the increase and decrease of the substance responsible for fouling, and a critical temperature of water temperature affecting activated sludge.SOLUTION: A membrane separation activated sludge treatment method includes: biologically treating treatment object water with activated sludge in a biological reactor 1; solid-liquid separating an internal mixture in the biological reactor 1 by a membrane separation device 3; and extracting membrane-filtered water transmitted by a separation membrane. The quantity of the activated sludge in the biological reactor is adjusted based on an adjustment index depending on an organic matter concentration of a liquid phase in the internal mixture and an organic matter concentration of the membrane-filtered water. |
