The structure (10) has a structural part (12) that delimits a space in which a seat for a driver of a railway vehicle i.e. tram, is placed. An absorption part (14) is provided at the structural part by a removable fixing unit (16). The absorption part is arranged in a deformable manner, and is arranged to absorb a part of energy of an impact against the end structure. The structural part has a rigidity higher than that of the absorption part to form a rigid support for deformation of the absorption part in the event of impact against the end structure.
