PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely execute driving support even in a traffic environment in which infrastructure is not developed.SOLUTION: When a signal device is a red light or a yellow light and a preceding vehicle is recognized or when there is a stopped vehicle, a target stop position where a present vehicle is stopped with respect to the preceding vehicle or the stopped vehicle is set and driving support is executed (S8). When the preceding vehicle is not recognized and there is no stopped vehicle, the target stop position of the present vehicle with respect to the signal device and the driving support is executed (S5). On the other hand, when the signal device is a green light, whether or not there is a stopped vehicle near the signal device is checked (S6). When there is no stopped vehicle, the driving support is not executed (S7). When there is a stopped vehicle, the target stop position with respect to the stopped vehicle is set and the driving support is executed (S8). |
