PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device for a flatcar that can be applied to various types of flatcars.SOLUTION: A conveying device 10 conveys along a rail 5 a flatcar 1 detached from a vehicle body of a railway vehicle. The conveying device 10 includes a working vehicle 11 that can travel along a longitudinal direction of the rail 5. Moreover, the device includes a capturing unit 30 integral with the working vehicle 11. The capturing unit 30 has a belt 40 contacting with an outer circumference of a wheel 2 of the flatcar 1, and captures the wheel 2 in a rotatable state by the belt 40 contacted with the wheel 2.
