PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of forming an image of color material at a resolution higher than the resolution of an exposure pattern.SOLUTION: Exposure of a plurality of exposure lines extending in a second exposure direction is executed along a first exposure direction at a second resolution lower than a first resolution. Then, a partial exposure pattern is determined so that exposure amount distribution along the first exposure direction in an output partial area differs depending on layout at least in a first image direction of pixels with a second value representing higher density than that of a first value in a binary partial area. |
