PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further accurately predict demand.SOLUTION: A demand prediction device 10 stores past information showing past demand records, sets, on the basis of user's operation, a plurality of classification candidates which are criteria for classification of past information and comprise classification criteria of a plurality of hierarchies, calculates performances of prediction models generated on the basis of the plurality of classification candidates, selects a prescribed classification candidate having a prediction performance meeting a prescribed selection criterion out of the plurality of classification candidates and predicts demand at a specific time of future on the basis of a prescribed prediction model generated on the basis of the prescribed classification candidate and the past information. Further, the demand prediction device 10 displays prescribed message information relating to the prescribed prediction model, in association with the result of demand prediction. |
