PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain higher angle measuring accuracy by alleviating a problem that an error of an angle measuring result by a monopulse has a bias which cannot be eliminated by tracking or the like under a low SNR.SOLUTION: A target angle detection device includes a radar receiving section, a target detection section and a monopulse angle estimation section. The radar receiving section includes two antennas for one direction in order to use for monopulse angle measuring, demodulates by receiving a radar wave reflected by a target over a plurality of coherent integration periods, and outputs a demodulation result for each coherent integration period. The target detection section detects the target from the demodulation result outputted from the radar receiving section. The monopulse angle estimation section extracts sum signals and difference signals of the two antennas for the detected target from the demodulation result, calculates a tangent value from the sum signals and the difference signals, estimates an optimum tangent value by using a plurality of tangent values over the plurality of coherent integration periods, and converts the estimated optimum tangent value into an angle. |
