Active shutter type 3D eyeglasses and working method thereof. The eyeglasses comprise an eyeglass frame (11) having eyeglass legs (111, 112); left and right magneto-optic lenses (121, 122) supported by the eyeglass frame and including left and right transparent mediums (131, 132 ) and left and right polarizers (141, 142) respectively; magnetic field devices (15) positioned at the outside of the left and right magneto-optic lenses providing magnetic field for the left and right magneto-optic lenses so that the polarization plane of the incident polarized light is rotated; and signal modules (16) connected to the magnetic field devices providing current signal for the magnetic field devices so that the magnetic field corresponds to the current signal.
