PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating a print image which does not depend on visual observation.SOLUTION: A method for evaluating a print image includes: a frequency conversion process of performing one-dimensional frequency conversion in one direction on the basis of two-dimensional image data showing a print image; a filter processing process of performing band pass filter processing to data after the one-dimensional frequency conversion; an inverse frequency conversion process of performing inverse frequency conversion to data after the band pass filter processing; and an evaluation process of evaluating a print image by using the data after the inverse frequency conversion as evaluation data. |
