PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a porous carbon thin film whose handling property at the time of processing is improved and whose raw material is non-thermal meltable regenerated cellulose, and a porous carbon thin film in which cracks and wrinkles are hard to be generated and whose raw material is non-thermal meltable regenerated cellulose having mass production aptitude.SOLUTION: A porous carbon thin film is heated and carbonized under an oxygen shielding atmosphere or a low oxygen atmosphere under a state in which tension is applied along the surface of the non-thermal meltable regenerated cellulose film, and maintained in a plane, or in which the material is curved, or in which these conditions are combined while further adjusting tension in response to heating and shrinkage. Handling property can be improved by applying a solvent or oil to the surface of the obtained porous carbon thin film. |
