PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can print an image of favorable quality by using a transparent UV ink.SOLUTION: A printer comprises: a first discharge part for discharging a color ink which is cured by receiving the radiation of light; a second discharge part for discharging a clear ink which is cured by receiving the radiation of the light; a radiation part for radiating the light; and a processing part for performing processing which improves the wettability of a surface of a color image formed by the discharged color ink. The printer forms the color image by discharging the color ink to the medium and radiating the light, and forms a clear image on the color image by discharging the clear ink and radiating the light after processing the color image formed on the medium by the processing part. |
