Provided are a lens power measurement device and lens power measurement method whereby the measurement results of lens power of a contact lens can be displayed in a manner which is easy to view, while maintaining fully satisfactory precision of the lens power measurement results. From lens power distribution information (S2, S3) found from the optical characteristic measurement information of a contact lens (10), items of information that need to be corrected are selected (S5). Such items of information include abnormal positive/negative peaks in the lens central region on both sides of the lens central axis. The lens power distribution measurement results are then found (S10) by applying smoothing to the lens power measurement values to smooth out those items of information that need to be corrected that were thus selected, by carrying out substitution (S6, S7) using a correction function.
