An air conditioner is provided to maintain minimized distance between a filter and a filter cleaning unit by a contact unit that allows the filter and an agitator of the filter cleaning unit to be tightly in contact, thereby facilitating removal of dust clinging to the filter. An air conditioner comprises a filter(100), a filter cleaning unit(200), and a contact unit. The filter is installed on a suction case. The filter cleaning unit comprises an agitator(220) coming in contact with the filter to remove dust clinging to the filter. The contact unit allows the filter to come in contact with the agitator, comprising a contact rib(420) supporting the agitator, a rail(48) guiding moving direction for the filter cleaning unit, a contact projection(410) disposed one of the suction case or the filter for pressing the filter toward the filter cleaning unit, and an elastic member disposed one of the suction case or filter for pressing the filter toward the filter cleaning unit. |
