PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem with paper that tends to have marks of spurs wherein shortage of a conveyance power is caused in the case of having conveyed the paper while keeping the distance between spurs by using a straight paper discharge route since a returning operation is forgotten and the spurs are kept having the distance between them. SOLUTION: The image forming device includes an upper guide part 74, rockably arranged facing a plurality of conveyance rollers 171 for conveying the paper, for pressing and holding the plurality of spurs 176 to the conveyance rollers 171, a supporting member 501 for supporting the upper guide part 74, an openable and closable straight paper discharge tray 83 and a linking mechanism 500 for moving the supporting member 501 while linking with opening and closing of the straight paper discharge tray 83. When the paper discharge tray 83 is opened, the supporting member 501 moves to a position for supporting the upper guide part 74 and, when the paper discharge tray 83 is closed, the supporting member 501 is returned to its original position.
