PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier film excellent in high gas barrier property and repeated reproducibility of a gas barrier property.SOLUTION: A gas barrier film has an inorganic substance layer 2 with thickness of 25 to 500 nm in at least one side of a polymer film base material 1 and is characterized in that in the inorganic substance layer, to concentrations of individual elements contained in a whole thickness range of the inorganic substance layer by 8 atom% or more, concentrations of the corresponding elements contained in the thickness range to 10 nm of the inorganic substance layer from of the side the polymer film base material are in the range of 0.87 to 1.15 times respectively, and to a density in a whole thickness range of the inorganic substance layer, a density in the thickness range of the 10 nm from the side of the polymer film base material is 0.95 to 0.998 times. |
