PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce volume of a residue containing cesium generated by a scrubbing treatment while retaining cleaning effects and reduce a disposal cost.SOLUTION: A cleaning treatment method for cesium-contaminated soil includes: a classification step 1 of adding water to soil G0 contaminated by cesium, performing a wet type screen classification treatment to the soil G0 to acquire slurry sand G1 with coarse particle components G2 separated therefrom, and further performing classification treatment to the slurry sand G1 to acquire sand components S1 and fine particle components S2; a surface treatment step 2 of heating the sand components S1 subjected to the classification treatment in the classification step 1, immediately thereafter, putting them into water to perform rapid cooling, and making the soil particle surface of the sand components S1 brittle by the temperature difference; and a scrubbing step 3 of performing a scrubbing treatment to the surface layer parts of sand components S3 subjected to a surface treatment by stirring to peel off and desorb them therefrom. The cleaning treatment method for cesium-contaminated soil for separating and removing cesium from the contaminated soil G0 is provided. |
