PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that performs correction of positional displacement and correction of density with a short correction pattern.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: image forming means for forming, on an image carrier, a first correction pattern including developer images in a plurality of colors, and a second correction pattern including developer images in a plurality of colors; positional displacement correction means for detecting positions of the developer images in a plurality of colors to perform correction control of positional displacement; and density correction means for performing density correction control on the basis of the developer images in a plurality of colors of the second correction pattern. The density correction means determines a position of a developer image of at least one color of the second correction pattern on the basis of the position of the developer image of said color of the first correction pattern detected by the positional displacement correction means. |
