PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in difference of reception quality of each mobile station device when multiplexing signals to be transmitted to a plurality of mobile station devices by hierarchical modulation in a down link.SOLUTION: The transmission apparatus for performing a data transmission to a plurality of reception apparatus using a plurality of symbols and a plurality of layers having different distances between signal points includes: a modulation unit 118-n that allocates data to be transmitted to a first reception apparatus to a first layer in a predetermined symbol among the plurality of symbols and allocates data to be transmitted to a second reception apparatus different from the first reception apparatus to the first layer in remaining symbols; and a transmission processing unit 127 that transmits each data allocated to the first layer to the first reception apparatus and the second reception apparatus, respectively.
